1. Oil Pastel Contour Winter Sports Abstract Drawing. Learn about the style of Scottish artist, Jim Lambie while making a colorful abstract with Oil Pastels. We'll learn about contour, silhouette, repetition, and smoothing oil pastels.
2. Clay Relief Moose Sculpture. Inspired by the paintings of indigenous Canadian artist, Norval Morrisseau, we'll use Model Magic air-dry clay to sculpt a moose! Learn how to sculpt with this squishy medium as well as how to color it or even draw on it to make a scene in the style of Morrisseau, also known as "Copper Thunderbird".
3. Acrylic on Canvas Landscape Painting. Learn 1-point perspective while making your version of the famous painting, "Snow Falling on the Lane" by Norwegian painter, Edvard Munch. Known for his famous painting "The Scream", you'll learn to paint in the colors and style of this famous artist. With Kim's step by step instructions to create your composition and her motivation to make it your own, you'll have fun creating your version of the snowy scene.
